Having a dog can be overwhelming when it comes to figuring out what to feed your dog. It can be super confusing to determine what supplements and treats are good for your dog, not to mention what your dog needs. Figuring out what a dog needs for good health is a journey, and each dog is his or her own unique individual, with different needs depending on age, breed, genetics and lifestyle.

For years, I was inundated with information and confused. I basically started doing my own research, and studying. I found a holistic veterinarian and aligned with a company that offers holistic health products for dogs.

For seven years, I did a side business around a very demanding career. My business focused on being an independent petPro or rep for a natural, holistic product line for dogs. Much of what I share here now is what I have learned from talking to vets, studying what works, and from aligning with a company that spent top dollar for research and development, and who worked with some of the best holistic vets and a PhD in Animal Science and Pet Nutrition. That being said, I left that business as a rep so that I could focus my time on this passion project, Dogs of Los Angeles®, and bring you my favorite products from ALL the best companies, not just one.

The goal is for your dog to not just survive, but THRIVE. Below are recommendations I have used and what I have been taught by veterinarians.
